Stormys Queen
Sorrel mare born 2000.
Stormy was chosen with great care as future broodmare when suddenly I unfortunately found myself standing with the insurance money from Zip.
A long selection process led to finding her way down in the german alps. As a fluffy little yearling with a great pedigree she was very interesting. When I saw her move I was very impressed and the way that she afterwards enjoyed being petted by 4 set of hands was also ok.
Then I saw her dam under rider and then I was totally convinced. I have rarely seen a horse as talented as her dam even after 2 years more or less off on foaling-leave and winterbreak.
So Stormy had to come all the way home to Denmark.

She was started by Iris Uhlenbrock when she was almost 3 and after that I rode her for periods over the next couple of years. She was purchased for breeding and was bred first time already in 2003.
She is a true pony. Loves food and the cosy good life and does not know the meaning of the word panic. I have sometimes used rather sensitive studs on her to put more spark in the babies with good results. Otherwise the stallions must mainly contribute with larger frames and build.

Expensive Chic Olena
Chestnut mare born 1997
Chic is the barns grand old lady honorable lead mare.
She is the only daughter of my first quarter horse mare and carries on her bloodlines.
At the same time she is the first quarter horse I ever bred.
I chose to use Smart Player for her dam because he had a larger frame and was more robust than my delicate mare and he added some, for the time, unique and unsurpassed bloodlines.
Chic is broke to ride and totally ridden about a year when she was young and since then she has been a broodmare. I got her used to saddle and rider myself and then she was lent to Noomi from Bornholm for riding. At the same time Noomi bought Chics first foal.

Chic is 147 cms tall but seems larger and has big but soft gaits.
She often stands on the pasture looking quite unathletic but make no mistake. She is fast as a tiger and can make the most spectacular moves. You clearly feel the cuttingblood in her ability to turn on and off in a second. She often performs long slidingstops, capriole and other fascinating moves in pasture just for the sport of it.
Chics foals are elegant riding horse types with flat ribs and lots of air under them. So no typical bulldogs here. They are usually sweet and easy as babies but can be real teenagers. As they grow up they make great buddies and sporty riding horses.

Play On Top (first/only time shown) won the first go round of the NRHAdk reining futurity 2008 and tied for 4th with kid brother Playing Jac Olena who is also a multiple AQHA point earner in several disciplines at age 3 and with limited showing.
